rotary district 1070 - local fund raising

People raise money in many different ways. Some are completely crazy, some daring, and some very normal, but productive. The Rotary Club is no different and our members set out to raise as much as they can. From completing epic journeys to car boot sales.

Right:

A team drawn from the Rotary Clubs in Northampton tackled Killimanjaro in January, raising money for a local hospice. Here, two Rotarians, Jim Buckby and Clive Fowler take a few minutes rest at the peak.

The Rotary Club of Bedford De Pary's has developed international links, providing funding to support projects in Tanzania and rural India. The Amani Centre in Morogoro, Tanzania provides a home and care for young people with mental disabilities.

A hog roast is a very successful way to raise funds and to have a good time all in one.

Towcester Rotary Club's benefit day was a great success and good fun too.

Some would think it madness but Rotarians of Corby were up to the challenge as they completed the 198 mile St Bees to Robin Hood Bay coast to coast walk and in doing so raised £3,520 for the British Heart Foundation.
