Annual District Photographic Competition

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Firstly on behalf of the Rotary Club of Blaby Meridian I would like to pass on our thanks to everyone who entered the 2011 District Photographic Competition. The number of entries and overall quality was a little higher than last year with some Rotarians submitting multiple entries ......along with corresponding entry fee.

Details of the 2011/12 competition are available and we are now ready to accept entries! Click here to open and download the Rules and Entry Form.

All entries must be received by 28 April 2012 with an entry form and fee paid.

This competition supports Foundation and is in it’s fourth year. We are conscious of all Clubs’ fund raising activities and hope that this Competition will not be viewed as interference but will be seen as a bit of fun for members of District 1070 with an associated benefit for Foundation.

Most of us, these days, have cameras varying from Single Lens Reflex, Digital cameras and even mobile phones! With more of us taking more photos, the possibility of snapping a number of decent photos has increased and, hopefully, a number of your members will have some that are suitable for entry.

Photos can be sent in either as a normal printed photo or by email (see the Rules and Entry Form for contact details). The £5 entry fee can be Gift Aided to enhance the value to Foundation.

I hope the accompanying Rules are self-explanatory. If for any reason you are unable to download and print the form yourself, please contact me for a printed copy.

The Competition has generated a variety of entries ranging from snapshots upwards

If you should have any queries, please call.

Thank you for your help.

Yours in Rotary

Mike Ward, Rotary Club of Blaby Meridian
