As your District Health and Safety Officer, I am available to help your Club meet its requirements for health and safety matters. Should there be any areas outside the scope of my own particular health and safety expertise, then we have contacts within R.I.B.I. who can advise further.
Rotary International in Britain & Ireland (RIBI) has published a Health and Safety Policy that includes guidance for Clubs on adopting their own policy and on carrying out Risk Assessments for its activities.
RIBI has also published a Protection Policy and we are urged to carry out Risk Assessments of any project involving children, disabled or elderly persons.
